Three years ago, I bought my little four‑acre ‘farm’ overlooking Mount Barker in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, driven by a desire to create something special and to prove that a woman, on her own, can do amazing things.
I started from scratch, cleaning up an unloved, overgrown block. I waded through weeds, tripping over the junk it was hiding too many times to count. I got far too familiar with a chainsaw and my blood, sweat and tears… literally.
The name Elizabeth Wren carries both my middle name and my mum’s. It’s my way of honoring her constant help, standing beside me whenever something hard needed doing despite being in constant pain and nudging me forward on the days I was having a ‘what the hell have I done’ moments when everything seamed too hard trying to
Once the land began to take shape, I threw myself into planting an orchard, berry patch and even a nut grove, despite being allergic to nuts. If nothing else, it proves I really do love to grow everything. Then the flowers started…
Before long, Mum was telling me my kitchen looked like a florist and my family and was running out of family and friends to give my flowers to, so sharing them with the community feels like the natural next step.
The 2026–27 season will be my first year selling my flowers. I’m still small, but I plan to grow little by little — thoughtfully, intentionally, and always with my hands in the soil.
If you’d like to know what’s in season and where to find my blooms, just drop me a line — I’d love to keep you in the loop.

Almost all supermarket bouquets and a significant percent of florist blooms are imported.
Most travel over 10,000kms to get to you - that’s a lot of frequent flyer points!
